The Chicken Bucket is a multi-year, full-scope renovation and addition project on Long Beach Island, New Jersey — one of Moore Construction's most comprehensive residential transformations to date.

Year one focused entirely on the interior. Every room was touched: bathrooms were fully remodeled, the kitchen was renovated with new cabinetry, countertops, and fixtures, and the entire home received fresh paint and new tile throughout. The result was a completely refreshed interior that set the stage for the major expansion to follow.

Year two brought the addition and exterior overhaul. The project added two new bedrooms, a dedicated office, and a full bathroom — all topped by a rooftop deck that takes full advantage of the LBI setting. Structurally, the addition was seamlessly integrated with the existing home to create a cohesive, expanded floor plan.

The exterior transformation completed the project's vision. All entry doors and garage doors were replaced with matching modern units, and NuCedar siding was installed throughout — delivering a clean, contemporary look that is both low-maintenance and built to withstand the coastal environment. The finished home is a striking example of what a phased, well-executed renovation can achieve.
